Paris is always a good idea!

We came to Paris in the morning and had about a little over half a day to spend exploring the city. We were to be dropped off at Notre Dame as our meeting spot. The night before, the group of us sat down with a map and tried to figure out what we were going to to do for the day. We drew up our goals of the places we wanted to hit and we got everything in.

Notre Dame. Louvre. Champs-Elysees. Arc de Triomphe. Eiffel Tower.

If you couldn't tell. I thought it would be funny to try to get selfies at major landmarks. I struggled a little getting all of Notre Dame in here.

Since we were here already and it was early the groups all split off and ours decided to walk inside for a while.

Tip: If you're going to go to the Notre Dame, go early. There were a lot of tourists however when we came back in the afternoon there was a line down the next block to get inside. We were very lucky.
One of the best parts about going inside was that a mass was currently in session. Amazing

Reliquary of the crown of thorns.

We took off walking towards the Louvre. We were going to have to be fairly hasty if we wanted to get to all of our destinations and be back on time.

I was the group photographer for their moms.

Next up, the Louvre.

It takes your breath away.

We also had absolutely gorgeous weather.

Here we go. The only problem with hanging out with a group of guys is when you would like to have your photo taken.

I can't explain this angle,

Holding in how giddy I was.

Walking out towards the gardens.

(A piece of Madeline was filmed here)

We all sat down and took a break here.

We were looking for snacks but ended up walking a bit further to find another crepe stand.

Just say "I. Love. Crepes."

The Champs-Elysees!

The Arc de Triomphe is at the end of the Champs-Elysees so we didn't have to go out of our way.
Planning our route the night before was the way to go.

You can't beat traveling around Europe with some pretty great people.

We were trying to decide whether we should take the metro or just walk to the Eiffel Tower.

Walking it was.

Looking down the Champs-Elysees

We had some time so we decided to go walk under the Eiffel Tower.

The infamous selfie.

John diggin' it.

Next up, the metro to get us back.

Once we were back close again to Notre Dame we found a spot for lunch.

We found a gyro restaurant and sat down to rest.
At 4:00 we had a boat tour of Paris.

The love lock bridge.

So many peace sign pictures were being taken on that boat we decided to join.

I included this one mainly to show the bags under my eyes.
The weeks were starting to catch up.

After the boat we had another hour to waste around the city and Braxton and I walked back up the Champs-Elysees to Laduree for some souvenirs. When we got there the line was wrapped around the building so we had to resort to some ice-cream. Sorry, family!

I got a print from a shop on the street and jumped back on the bus where we were then headed to FedEx Roissy.

After a long day we ordered a pizza and hit the hay back in Reims.
I'm coming back to Paris.
